My name is Peter Giovanno, and I work as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Kitameraki. My journey in data began with a passion for discovering patterns and transforming raw numbers into meaningful insights. Over time, I developed skills in Power BI, SQL, & Python, which allow me to design solutions that turn complex datasets into clear, actionable stories that support better decision-making.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new data projects to sharpen my skills, reading, and keeping up with emerging technologies. I also value time spent with friends and family, which helps me recharge and bring fresh perspectives back to my professional life.
As a BI Consultant, my role combines technical expertise with close collaboration. I design and develop dashboards, build reliable data models, and ensure that data pipelines run smoothly. Equally important is working with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into insights that can guide decisions. While challenges such as data quality issues or differing stakeholder expectations often arise, they also make the work dynamic and intellectually rewarding.
What I value most about working at Kitameraki is the balance between creativity, collaboration, and purpose. The culture encourages knowledge sharing, open dialogue, and exploring new ideas, which makes every project both challenging and rewarding. It is fulfilling to see how insights from my work can guide real decisions, while being part of a team that is committed to continuous learning and meaningful impact. I believe this combination of technical expertise and business understanding is what truly sets Kitameraki apart.
Succeeding in this environment requires adaptability, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical insights in a clear and simple way are just as important, since data only becomes valuable when it can be understood and acted upon.
Working at Kitameraki has shown me that Business Intelligence is not just about numbers or dashboards. It is about creating impact, telling stories with data, and putting a part of yourself into the work. That is what makes the journey rewarding and meaningful.
